Role and Responsibilities

  • Operation and Maintenance of a RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) plant consisting of gas compression, gas processing and filtration equipment; works with Landfill Gas (LFG) and pipeline quality RNG.
  • Comply with all workplace, federal, state and OSHA safety guidelines and obligations.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of fixed plant equipment, including rotating gas compressors, H2S gas scrubber, CO2 membranes, N2 removal PSA and other auxiliary equipment such as pumps, chillers, valves etc.
  • Administrative duties including documenting and reporting equipment maintenance, operation, and condition.
  • Perform fault-finding, repairs and reporting of gas, electrical and mechanical systems.

Specific Accountabilities for the Role:

  1. Quality: Develop and implement a quality plan that encompasses the entire production cycle from raw material to receipt by customer, ensuring Company and customer quality requirements are met for all applicable quality standards and procedures. Maintain all quality certifications and ensure facility is ready for third party audits at all times.
  2. Training: Train staff on quality plan. Coach department teams on daily goals and hold teams accountable for proper execution of the quality plan. Ensure staff are trained and qualified to perform required tasks and maintain training currency and records.
  3. Communication: Develop communications tools to proactively communicate product quality (internal and external) status with Colleagues and Senior Management; including in-process non-conformances, root cause and corrective actions, department backlog and forecast impact to schedule, and other key process indicators as needed.
  4. Management: Perform Management duties in a manner consistent with Company culture as to earn Leadership trust and respect of direct reports. Assure that Management Reviews are preformed timely & actions from those meetings are appropriate for the assessed gap(s).
  5. Leadership: Mentor Lab and Inspection Supervisors and hold accountable for the supervision of assigned employees and product flow through their areas; monitor and report on processing schedules, manage overtime, and meet goals set forth by ATF; Maintain positive working relationship with assigned employees, and oversee department.
  6. Spending Management: Provide support to department heads in spending management by assuring the reasonableness and accuracy of account charges for supplies and services; and providing spending/purchasing reports as needed.
